Clauses “B”
If owing to civil or warlike operations, revolution,
insurrection or civil commotions the ship has been arrested or through similar
measures is detained in ports or waterways, the costs for the Master, Officers
and Crew, engine room stores, marine and war insurance premiums and other
unavoidable cost due to detention for the ship attributable the arrest or
detention are compensated.
Compensation shall not be paid for the first seven (7)
days and not for time in excess of 300 days.
Compensation is payable when the ship is no longer
arrested or detained or when time limit of 300 days has expired, whichever
occurs first.
